How to bulk add events to Google Calendar
Google Calendar has no "add many events" button. These are the four ways to do it, from a one-time import to a schedule that stays in sync.
1. Import a CSV file (one time, no code)
Put one event per row with Google's headers (Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time…), save as CSV, and import it in Calendar's settings. Format, template and fixes.
Best for: a list that won't change. Watch out: importing again duplicates everything.
2. Convert your existing sheet with a free tool
If your events are already in Google Sheets or Excel with your own column names, paste them into our free converter. It maps your columns, previews every event, and downloads a CSV Google accepts. Nothing is uploaded.
3. Write an Apps Script
A short script in your sheet can create the events. Use our free no-duplicates script, which stores each event's ID so re-runs update instead of duplicating.
Best for: people comfortable editing code.
4. Use a Sheets add-on that syncs
Calendrow turns each row into an event from a sidebar: preview first, then sync. Change the sheet and sync again; events update and nothing is duplicated. Every row shows Created, Updated, Skipped or Error with a reason.
Best for: schedules that change, like shifts, classes, jobs and event lists. Free for up to 100 new events a month.

Questions
What is the fastest way to add many events to Google Calendar?
If they're in a spreadsheet, convert the rows to a Google Calendar CSV and import it once. If the list changes over time, use a Sheets add-on that syncs, so later edits update the events instead of duplicating them.
Is there a limit to how many events I can add?
Google's published use limits start at creating more than 100,000 events in a short period, far above a normal schedule.
