Google Sheets & Excel to Google Calendar converter

Import the file into Google Calendar

  1. On a computer, open Google Calendar → Settings → Import & export.
  2. Click Select file from your computer and choose the downloaded CSV.
  3. Under Add to calendar, pick the calendar. A new, empty calendar is safest: delete it to undo the import.
  4. Click Import.

Times in the file have no time zone, so Google uses the time zone of the calendar you import into. Check it in that calendar's settings first.

Is your schedule going to change? A CSV import is a one-time copy: importing again creates every event twice, and edits in your sheet never reach the calendar. Questions

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. The converter runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to calendrow.com or anywhere else.

What date formats does it understand?

ISO dates (2026-12-07), US dates (12/7/2026), day-first dates (7/12/2026, choose "Day first"), and written dates (Dec 7, 2026 or 7 December 2026), each optionally followed by a time like 7:00, 19:30 or 7:30 PM.

What happens to rows it can't read?

They are left out of the file and listed with the reason, so nothing disappears silently.

Can I import into a calendar other than my main one?

Yes. In Google Calendar's import screen, pick the calendar under "Add to calendar". Tip: import into a new calendar first. If something looks wrong, delete that calendar to undo the whole import.

Does it handle overnight shifts?

Yes. If End is only a time and it's earlier than Start (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), the event ends the next day.
